Page 1 of 2 – Resolution No. 2026-63 CITY OF CORAL GABLES, FLORIDA RESOLUTION NO. 2026-63 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO COORDINATE WITH MIAMI-DADE COUNTY TO MAKE AVAILABLE THE MEETQ PERMIT SERVICES AT THE CITY’S DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT. WHEREAS, Miami-Dade County uses the MeetQ software for various services associated with the County’s permitting process; and WHEREAS, MeetQ allows permit applicants to meet virtually with County representatives to answer questions about the process, submittals, and permit comments, among other things; and WHEREAS, City permit applicants often must also obtain approvals from Miami-Dade County and the City Commission wishes to make that process easier for its residents and business owners by facilitating use of the MeetQ services at the City’s Development Services through installation or use of a workstation available to City permit applicants for that purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CORAL GABLES: SECTION 1. That the foregoing “WHEREAS” clauses are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true and correct and are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution upon adoption hereof. SECTION 2. That the City Commission directs the City Manager to coordinate with Miami-Dade County to make available the MeetQ permit services at the City’s Development Services Department through installation or use of a workstation that would be available to City permit applicants for purposes of meeting with the appropriate County personnel to obtain information about the relevant permitting processes, permit submittals, and permit comments, among other services that may be provided by the County through MeetQ. SECTION 3. That this Resolution shall become effective upon the date of its passage and adoption herein. PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS TWENTY-FOURTH DAY OF FEBRUARY, A.D., 2026.
