BUSINESS IMPACT ESTIMATE FORM Posted To Webpage: May 13, 2026 This Business Impact Estimate is given as it relates to the proposed ordinance titled: Ordinance #2026-07 “Vacation of Street – La Joya” AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DORAL, FLORIDA, APPROVING A PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY VACATION OF NW 52 TERRACE IN DOWNTOWN DORAL, ADJACENT TO THE PROPERTIES WITH FOLIO NUMBERS 35-3022-018-0010, 35-3022-018-0020, 35-3022-018-0030, AND 35-3022-018-0040, FOR THE PROPOSED HOUSING DEVELOPMENT NAMED “LA JOYA”; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ANY NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR THIS PROVISION UPON APPROVAL OF A SECOND READING BY THE CITY COUNCIL; PROVIDING FOR IMPLEMENTATION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE Part I. Summary of the proposed ordinance and statement of public purpose1: Right-of-way vacation of NW 52nd Terrace accessed from NW 53rd St. on the west side and NW 53rd St. on the east side, along Downtown Doral. The proposed ordinance will serve for the vacation of the mentioned right-of-way to give way for private land development. Part II. Estimate of the direct economic impact of the proposed ordinance on private, for-profit businesses in the City of Doral: (fill out subsections a-c as applicable, if not applicable write “not applicable”) a. Estimate of direct compliance costs that businesses may reasonably incur if the proposed ordinance is enacted: No additional costs or compliance measures beyond standard permit application and payment procedures will impact any businesses. 1 Address the public purpose to be served by the proposed ordinance, such as serving the public health, safety, morals, and welfare of the City of Doral. b. Identification of any new charges or fee on businesses subject to the proposed ordinance, or for which businesses will be financially responsible; and The proposed ordinance does not introduce new charges or fees for which businesses will be financially responsible. c. An estimate of the City of Doral’s regulatory costs, including an estimate of revenues from any new charges or fees that will be imposed on businesses to cover such costs. The City of Doral does not anticipate additional regulatory or administrative costs associated with the implementation of the Ordinance. Part III. Good faith estimate of the number of businesses likely to be impacted by the ordinance: No business will be impacted by this ordinance. Part IV. Additional Information (if any): N/A
