Approve $93,610 sole source contract for wave control panel installation

Proposed resolution providing for an exception to bid in the form of a sole source, publicly noticed by the City and attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit "A", authorizing the Mayor or his designee and the City Clerk, as attesting witness, on behalf of the City, to enter into an agreement with Aquatic Development Group by and through its wholly owned subsidiary Hydrotech Systems Limited for the purchase and installation of a complete wave control panel as described herein for the proprietary wave pool located at McDonald Park; approving the expenditure in an amount not to exceed $93,610.00 inclusive of a ten percent (10%) contingency and in substantial conformity with the agreement attached hereto and made apart hereof as Exhibit "B".; and providing for an effective date.
