Award $4.8M roadway and drainage improvements contract

Proposed resolution accepting the Invitation for Bid ("IFB") response for IFB No. 2025-26- 005 - Roadway and Drainage Improvements to East 8th Avenue to East 10th Avenue, from East 5th Street to East 9th Street; and authorizing the Mayor or his designee and the City Clerk, as attesting witness, on behalf of the City, to issue a purchase order to Acosta Tractors Inc (the vendor) in an amount not to exceed $4,408,449.72, and a contingency amount of $440,844.97 if required, for a cumulative amount not to exceed $4,849,294.69 subject to budget approval for the roadway and drainage improvements to East 8th Avenue to East 10th Avenue, from East 5th Street to East 9th Street, and in substantial conformity with the attached IFB No. 2025-26-005, attached hereto and made a part hereof as "Exhibit A," and authorizing the Mayor or designee to sign any related and customary purchasing documents to effectuate this resolution; and providing for an effective date.
