Grant special use permit for indoor dry slide and action park

Second reading and public hearing of proposed ordinance granting a Special Use Permit (SUP) to allow the operation of an entertainment facility (indoor dry slide and action park), with no alcohol to be sold or served, and no amusement machines to be permitted, within a property zoned M-1 (Industrial District), pursuant to Hialeah Code of Ordinances §98-161. Property located at 3890 West 18 Avenue, Hialeah, zoned M-1 (I ndustrial District) and legally described in Exhibit "A"; repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith; providing penal ties for violation hereof; providing for a severability clause; and providing for an effective date. On January 13, 2026, the City Council approved the item on first reading. Second reading and public hearing is scheduled for January 27, 2026. On December 10, 2025, the Planning and Zoning Board recommended the approval of this item subject to a condition. Condition: 1. The applicant must provide a Declaration of Restrictions to include the use of the premises as the sister plan provided, and that there will be no amusement machines and no alcohol will be served and/or sold at the premises.
