Urge Miami-Dade County to share daily bench warrant list with Miami Beach Police

A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, urging miami-dade county to provide the miami beach police department with, or access to, a comprehensive list of bench warrants issued for miami beach criminal defendants on a daily basis, to include relevant details such as the defendants’ names, addresses, charges, and any additional pertinent information, in order to enhance the city’s ability to apprehend such individuals and fulfill its duty to uphold public safety and hold criminal violators accountable; and further, directing the city clerk to transmit a copy of this resolution to the miami-dade county board of county commissioners, the miami-dade county mayor, the miami- dade county police department, the miami-dade county clerk of the courts, the miami-dade county information technology department and any other appropriate stakeholders, urging their full support and collaboration in implementing this important initiative.
