A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, directing the administration to take all necessary steps, including engaging a consultant, if necessary, to apply for any and all available state and federal grants to support the creation of a water taxi service between miami beach and miami, and to coordinate with the appropriate state and federal agencies to identify funding sources to support the development of this service; and further, directing the administration to provide monthly updates via letter to commission (ltc) to the city commission on the progress of these efforts, including the status of grant applications, the identification of potential funding sources, and any steps taken to secure the necessary financial resources for this initiative.
