Name Flamingo Park softball field after Andy Diamond

A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, accepting the recommendation of the neighborhood and quality of life committee, at its july 13, 2023 meeting, to approve the naming of the flamingo park softball field, which is located within flamingo park, to commemorate andy diamond, a former pitcher and coach; setting a public hearing on october 18, 2023, pursuant to section 82-503 of the city code, to consider whether to approve the proposed name by a 5/7th vote; and directing the city clerk to provide public notice of the hearing consistent with the requirements of section 82-503(a)(5).
