Initiate negotiations to purchase Roosevelt Theater at 770 Arthur Godfrey Road

A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, directing the administration to initiate non-binding discussions with the owner of the roosevelt theater, located at 770 arthur godfrey road (the “theater”), for the city’s potential purchase of the theater; further, authorizing the administration to obtain an appraisal of the theater, and referring this matter to the finance and economic resiliency committee for review of the appraisal report and any proposed terms for the potential purchase of the theater.
