A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, approving and authorizing (and, as to certain agreements, retroactively approving and authorizing) the city manager, or her designee, to apply for, and accept funding, execute any and all documents or agreements, and appropriate funding received by the city of miami beach in connection with the following grants, programs, and agreements: 1) national oceanic and atmospheric administration, transformational habitat restoration and coastal resilience grant program in the approximate amount of $11.16 million; 2) florida junior golf council, florida's golf license plate program in the approximate amount of $9,500; 3) florida department of transportation, high visibility enforcement program FY 22-23 through the university of north florida institute of technology and management, in the approximate amount of $26,250; 4) u.s. Department of transportation, safe streets and roads for all grant program in the approximate amount of $320,000; and 5) u.s. Conference of mayors and american beverage foundation for a healthy america, childhood obesity prevention/environmental health and sustainability awards, in the approximate amount of $175,000.
