A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, approving and authorizing (and, as to certain agreements, retroactively approving and authorizing) the city manager, or her designee, to apply for, and accept funding, execute any and all documents or agreements, and appropriate funding received by the city of miami beach in connection with the following grants, programs, and agreements: 1) florida department of environmental protection, resilient florida grant program in the approximate amount of $33 million; 2) u.s. Department of homeland security, urban area security initiative grant program in the approximate amount of $365,000; 3) u.s. Department of housing and urban development, through miami-dade county homeless trust in the approximate amount of $66,000; 4) u.s. Department of homeland security, FEMA, through the state of florida division of emergency management and miami-dade county, operation stonegarden grant program in the approximate amount of $16,250; 5) florida department of law enforcement, office of criminal justice grants, FY 2021 edward byrne memorial justice assistance countywide grant program, in the approximate amount of $7,900; 6) miami-dade county municipal parking fines program in the approximate amount of $40,000 and, 7) florida house of representatives in the approximate amount of $450,000.
