Authority to execute documents and agreements for unspecified purpose

A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, supporting the school board of miami-dade county’s legislative priority goal of adding the attainment of the advanced placement (ap) capstone diploma as one of the eligibility requirements for florida bright futures scholarship program, and urging the florida legislature to authorize (ap) capstone graduates to receive the same recognition as international baccalaureate (ib) and advanced international certificate of education (aice) diploma graduates by automatically qualifying for the florida bright futures scholarship program; and further, directing the city administration to add this request to the city’s legislative priorities agenda.
