RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the Mayor and City Commission of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, authorize the issuance of Request for Qualifications (RFQ) 2023-051-WG for mobile parking payment system(s); and approve the month-to-month extension of the current agreement with Park Mobile USA, Inc., until a replacement agreement is executed and mobile parking payment services have been transitioned to the new service provider. BACKGROUND/HISTORY The City currently offers a mobile payment solution that enables parking patrons to pay for the City’s parking fees via phone, mobile applications, and/or text. On September 11, 2013, the City of Miami Beach (“City”) executed a five (5) year agreement, with two (2), two (2) year renewal options, for Pay-by-phone (PBP) parking system services with Parkmobile USA.
