Resolution of Mayor and City Commission

A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, accepting the recommendation of the finance and economic resiliency committee to approve the financial support request from the south beach wine and food festival ("sobewff") and authorize the city manager to negotiate and execute amendment no. 3 to the sponsorship agreement between the city and the florida international university board of trustees; said amendment to include a reimbursement to the sobewff, in the amount not to exceed $125,000, to cover event-related public services, in addition to the waivers of city permit costs already provided under the agreement, with the contingency that no funds are distributed before march 15, 2023; and further, waiving the rental fee in the amount of $2,500 for the miami beach bandshell on february 26, 2023, for the purposes of sobewff hosting a drag brunch.
