A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, modifying the authority of the city manager and city attorney of miami beach, florida, or each of their respective designee(s), to settle claims (liability and workers compensation) to an amount not to exceed $50,000.00 per claimant in respect of claims filed against the city of miami beach’s self insurance fund, with any claim in excess of this amount to require the approval of the mayor and city commission following discussion at a private attorney-client session in accordance with

section 286.
