A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, accepting the recommendation of the city manager (as set forth in the city commission memorandum accompanying this resolution) and waiving, by 5/7th vote, the formal competitive bidding requirement in section 2-367(e) of the city code, finding such waiver to be in the city’s best interest, and authorizing the city manager, or designee, to negotiate an agreement for the purchase of technology equipment, parts, software, installation, and support services from constant technologies, INC., as necessary to equip and maintain the real-time intelligence center, not to exceed the amount appropriated annually for these goods and services through the city’s budgetary process.
