A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, consenting to the appointment of vince seijas, as the building director of the city of miami beach. Applicable area: citywide human resources item moved from r7 r c7 aw a resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, directing the city manager to negotiate an agreement with the miami dade college foundation to provide funding for first generation college scholarships for miami beach residents. With the total amount of funding from the city of miami beach not to exceed $30,000 for the 2025-2026 school year and each subsequent school year thereafter, subject to identification of funding for the 2025-2026 school year and annual approval by the city commission during the city’s budgetary process for subsequent school years, such agreement to be subject to the approval of the city attorney and the mayor and city commission prior to execution.
