A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, directing the city administration to organize and produce an exhibit entitled “miami beach art deco” in lummus park for april 2025 to celebrate the historical significance, unique aesthetics, and community efforts that define miami beach’s art deco heritage, with a budget of $75,000 to be utilized from the city’s large scale special event fund; and further, accepting the city manager’s recommendation and waiving, by 5/7 of the vote, the competitive BID requirement under section 2-367(e) of the city code to allow eastern harbour group, a longstanding city-approved vendor, to be the sole vendor for the exhibit, and authorizing the city administration to negotiate and execute any and all agreements and documents in connection with this exhibit.
