Allow commission waiver of education committee member requirements

An ordinance of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, amending chapter 2 of the miami beach city code, entitled "administration," by amending article iii, entitled “agencies, boards and committees,” by amending division 30, entitled “committee for quality education in miami beach schools,” by amending section 22-190.137 thereof, entitled “composition, knowledge and experience” to allow the city commission to waive, by 4/7ths vote, the requirement that a committee member must be a parent/guardian of a student attending a school in the city; and, providing for repealer, severability, codification, and an effective date.
