Accept Florida Department of Health EMS matching grant

A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, approving and authorizing (and, as to certain agreements, retroactively approving and authorizing) the city manager, or his designee, to apply for, and accept funding, execute any and all documents or agreements, and appropriate funding received by the city of miami beach in connection with the following grants, programs, and agreements: 1) florida department of health, emergency medical services (ems) matching grant; in the approximate amount of $84,000; 2) life time foundation, kids run miami grant program, in the approximate amount of $1,600; and 3) u.s. Department of homeland security through the united way of miami-dade county, emergency food and shelter program (efsp) phase 42, in the approximate amount of $35,000.
