A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, directing the administration to work with the florida department of transportation and any other agencies having jurisdiction to evaluate proposed improvements to promote traffic safety at alton road and 63rd street, and to take all steps which may be necessary for the city or other appropriate agency to expedite the regulatory process, conduct the required studies, and obtain any permits which may be required to install guardrails and a traffic light or other appropriate traffic device or solution at or near the intersection of alton road and 63rd street with all deliberate speed as a stand-alone project in order to improve traffic safety at this intersection; and further, directing the city clerk to transmit a copy of this resolution to the florida secretary of transportation.
