Granado, City Clerk DATE: November 13, 2023 SUBJECT: A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE CERTIFICATE OF THE RESULTS OF THE NOVEMBER 7, 2023, GENERAL ELECTION FOR THE ANALYSIS The attached Resolution formally adopts the Certificate of results of the City of Miami Beach November 7, 2023 General Election. With regard to Mayor, no candidate received a majority of the votes cast as required by

Sec. 2.

01 of the City Charter. Therefore, a Run-off Election will be held on November 21, 2023 as authorized by Resolution No. 2023-32678, and early voting therefor shall be conducted as provided by Resolution No. 2023-32679. The Run-off Election results for Mayor will be adopted by the Miami Beach City Commission on November 28, 2023, followed by the swearing in of all the newly-elected officials. Th e Unofficial Results o f the General Election are attached. Upon receipt of the Official Certificate of Election, the results will be attached to the Resolution and made part of the public record.
