A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, urging the florida legislature to adopt senate bill 106, filed for consideration during the 2024 legislative session, which seeks to require certain businesses to accept cash as a valid form of payment in recognition that not everyone has access to traditional banking or digital payment methods; and further, directing the city clerk to transmit a copy of this resolution to the speaker of the florida house of representatives, and the president of the florida senate.
