A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, accepting the recommendation of the finance and resiliency committee, at its february 21, 2025 meeting, to amend resolution no. 2024-33200 to allow greater flexibility to the mayor and each commissioner as to the use of the $12,500 allocation per commissioner for expenses associated with carrying out their public duties, including the payment of a housing stipend of up to $300 per month per legislative aide who is a miami beach resident as well as contributions to non-profit civic or community organizations, provided that the contributions serve a public purpose and that the funds are not used in connection with political campaigns or lobbying.
