A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, accepting the recommendation of the city’s lgbtqia+ advisory committee, made at its may 9th meeting, and declaring moral and philosophical opposition to the current anti-lgbtq climate in the state of florida, and reaffirming the city’s commitment to being a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community while still bound by the laws of the state.
