A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, appropriating funding, and approving and authorizing (and, as to certain agreements retroactively approving and authorizing) the city manager or her designee to apply for and accept funding (including matching funds and any related city expenses), and execute any and all documents or agreements in connection with the following grants,

A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, appropriating funding, and approving and authorizing (and, as to certain agreements retroactively approving and authorizing) the city manager or her designee to apply for and accept funding (including matching funds and any related city expenses), and execute any and all documents or agreements in connection with the following grants, programs, and agreements: 1) federal transit administration, through florida department of transportation, for the low or no emission grant program, in the approximate amount of $15.1 million; 2) miami beach visitor and convention authority, in the approximate amount $90,000; 3) florida department of transportation, public transit service development grant program, in the approximate amount of $1,408,000; 4) florida department of state, cultural facilities grant program, in the approximate amount of $446,000; 5) florida department of economic opportunity, community planning technical assistance program, in the amount of $73,000; 6) u.s. Department of homeland security, federal emergency management program through the united way, for the emergency food and shelter program, in the approximate amount of $62,000; 7) an appropriation request to the florida house of representatives, in the approximate amount of $400,000; and for the renewal of the following grants: 8) the children's trust group, individual, and home visitation grant program, in the approximate amound of $345,000; and 9) the children's trust family neighborhood supports partnerships grant program in the approximate amount of $500,000.
