Waive $50,000 annually in convention center fees for school events

A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, approving and authorizing (and, as to certain agreements, retroactively approving and authorizing) the city manager, or her designee, to apply for, and accept funding, execute any and all documents or agreements, and appropriate funding received by the city of miami beach in connection with the following grants, programs, and agreements: 1) florida youth soccer association, florida youth soccer association foundation grant, in the approximate amount of $5,000; 2) florida department of heal th, emergency medical services matching grant, in the approximate amount of $110,000; 3) florida department of transportation, highway traffic safety subgrant program, in the approximate amount of $350,000.
