Apply for and accept transportation grants and program funding

A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, approving and authorizing (and, as to certain agreements, retroactively approving and authorizing) the city manager, or his designee, to apply for, and accept funding, execute any and all documents or agreements, and appropriate funding received by the city of miami beach in connection with the following grants, programs, and agreements: 1) florida department of transportation, transportation alternatives program, in the approximate amount of $1.5 million; 2) florida junior golf council, florida golf license plate program, in the approximate amount of $6,000; and 3) u.s. Department of homeland security, federal emergency management agency, assistance to firefighters grant program, in the approximate amount of $1.1 million. Applicable area: citywide grants management
