A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, approving and authorizing (and, as to certain agreements, retroactively approving and authorizing) the city manager, or her designee, to apply for, and accept funding, execute any and all documents or agreements, and appropriate funding received by the city of miami beach in connection with the following grants, programs, and agreements: 1) florida office of the attorney general, victims of crime act (voca) assistance grant program, in the approximate amount of $500,000; 2) the children's trust, parenting and family strengthening program, in the approximate amount of $520,000; 3) department of energy, energy efficient and conservation block grant program, in the approximate amount of $144,100; 4) united states tennis association florida section foundation, in the approximate amount of $16,000; 5) u.s. Department of transportation, federal transit administration, low or no emission grant program and grants for buses and bus facilities competitive program, in the approximate amount of $15.1 million.
