A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, approving, following a public hearing, the traffic calming project recommended by the administration for the central bayshore neighborhood (the “neighborhood”), including the installation of the following traffic calming features: 1) one (1) speed table located on chase avenue between 37th street and 40th street; 2) one (1) speed table located on royal palm avenue between 34th street and 37th street; 3) one (1) raised crosswalk located on the north side of sheridan avenue and 34th street; and 4) one (1) traffic circle at the intersection of sheridan avenue and 37th street, finding that the proposed traffic calming features will reduce the speed of the motor vehicles traveling through the neighborhood and therefore serve the public interest of pedestrian and vehicular safety in the city’s residential neighborhoods; and further requesting the miami-dade county department of transportation and public works (“DTPW”) to approve the aforementioned traffic calming features. 2:15 p.m. Public hearing transportation and mobility commissioner alex fernandez
