Approve $100,000 homeless employment services contract with Favela Miami Corp

A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, approving, in substantial form, pursuant to section 2- 366(c)(2) of the city code for exempt professional services in accordance with florida statute 287.057, the professional services agreement attached to the city commission memorandum accompanying this resolution, between the city and favela miami corp. For homeless employment services during FY 2025 in an amount not to exceed $100,000 for the initial term of the agreement; said agreement having an initial term commencing on october 1, 2024 and expiring on september 30, 2025, with one (1) additional one-year renewal term, at the city's option and subject to funding approval; and further authorizing the city manager to finalize and execute the agreement.
