A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, establishing a city policy goal relating to the timeframes for the final issuance of building permits, as follows: to the extent possible, (1) final residential building permit applications should be approved or denied not later than ninety (90) days following submittal of a completed permit application, or earlier, if required by law; and (2) final commercial building permit applications should be approved or denied not later than one hundred and twenty (120) days following submittal of a completed permit application, or earlier, if required by law; further, providing that the foregoing timeframes shall be used to guide the city’s on- going efforts to streamline the permit review process.
