A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, approving and authorizing (and, as to certain agreements, retroactively approving and authorizing) the city manager, or his designee, to apply for, and accept funding, execute any and all documents or agreements, and appropriate funding received by the city of miami beach in connection with the following grants, programs, and agreements: 1) florida department of environmental protection, coastal partnership initiative, in the approximate amount of $20,000; 2) u.s. Conference of mayors, childhood obesity prevention/environmental health and sustainability awards, in the approximate amount of $175,000; 3) leary firefighters foundation, jeremiah lucey grant program, in the approximate amount of $20,000; and 4) u.s. House of representatives through national oceanic and atmospheric administration (noaa), congressionally-directed grant for community projects, in the approximate amount of $963,000.
