ANALYSIS On November 21, 2022, the City Commission adopted Resolution No. 2022-32417, which adopted the Certification of the results of the City of Miami Beach November 8, 2022 Special Election to Fill the Vacancy in City Commission Group II. The attached Resolution adopts the Certification of the results of the City of Miami Beach’s December 6, 2022 Run-Off Election, and declares Laura Dominguez elected. Passage of these Resolutions effectively concludes the City Commission's action relative to the City of Miami Beach November 8, 2022 Special Election to Fill the Vacancy in City Commission Group II and the December 6, 2022 City of Miami Beach Run-Off Election. Please note that the Unofficial Results of the Run-Off Election are attached to the Resolution. Upon receipt of the Official Certification of Election, the results will be attached to the Resolution and made part of the public record.
