A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, accepting the recommendation of the city manager, to authorize negotiations relating to request for qualifications no. 2023-120-nd, for construction manager at risk (cmr) for the 72nd street community complex project; authorizing the administration to enter into negotiations with kaufman lynn construction, INC., as the top-ranked proposer; further, if the administration is not successful in negotiating an agreement with kaufman lynn construction, INC., authorizing the administration to enter into negotiations with pcl construction services, INC., as the second- ranked proposer; authorizing the city manager and city clerk to execute an agreement, which shall include preconstruction services, upon the conclusion of successful negotiations; and requiring that the final guaranteed maximum price (gmp) for construction services be subject to the prior approval of the city commission.
