Create civilian security position to integrate license plate readers and cameras

A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, directing the city administration to create a new, civilian security and technology-based position, intended to maximize technology by integrating all license plate readers and cameras into the police department’s real-time intelligence center and programming the cameras to identify certain suspicious patterns and behaviors that can provide notification to the police department when such pattern or behavior triggers the system, as an enhancement during the fiscal year 2026 budget process.
