A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, approving, in substantial form, amendment no. 4 to the construction manager-at-risk agreement, dated april 30, 2020, by and between the city and kaufman lynn construction, INC. For the new fire station no. 1 facility (the "fire station"); said amendment for a grand total not-to-exceed amount of $3,100,273.62, utilizing previously appropriated funds, including (i) additional preconstruction services for the fire station and the temporary facilities for the rainbow intergenerational learning center (the "daycare facility") at flamingo park, in the amount of $160,000, (ii) an additional guaranteed maximum price (gmp) in the amount of $2,975,254, including the construction of the daycare facility in the amount of $2,830,394, and an allowance for adding a food preparation area at the flamingo park lodge, to accommodate the senior congregate meal site, in the amount of $144,860, (ill) a city contingency in the amount of $141,520, which is five percent (5%) of the construction cost of the daycare facility, and (iv) a credit of $176,500.38 for unused funds; authorizing the city manager to finalize amendment no. 4; and further, authorizing the city manager and city clerk to execute the final amendment no. 4.
