A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, waiving, by 5/7th vote, the requirements of section 2- 14(d)(1)(a) of the city code, and approving additional special event sponsorship funding for fiscal year 2024 for the american black film festival (the “abff”), in the amount of $97,000, to provide the abff with a total aggregate sponsorship for FY 2024 in the amount of $200,000; and further, authorizing the city manager and city clerk to execute the sponsorship agreements related to the approved funds.
