A resolution of the mayor and city commission of the city of miami beach, florida, directing the administration to expeditiously work with the property owner of the building located at 1200 lincoln road, featuring four american flag murals by italian artist enzo gallo (the “murals”), and to take all necessary steps, without creating any delay of the owner’s private project, to assist with the on-going efforts to remove and store the murals at a temporary to- be-determined location; further, subject to the successful removal of the murals, accepting the owner’s donation of the murals to the city, and referring the foregoing to the art in public places committee for an advisory recommendation as to potential locations for the permanent installation of the mural; and further, directing the administration to identify any available art in public places funding which may be appropriated for the storage, restoration and re-installation of the murals.
