WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 62-521 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended ("City Code"), titled “Temporary Events in General”, temporary events are limited to no more than two (2) events per year per property for a maximum of two (2) weeks per permit; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 62-521(b)(4) of the City Code, the number of events can be waived upon affirmative vote of the City Commission; and WHEREAS, “The Bloom Presents” is an immersive art experience that will have curated art presented in a moder format; and WHEREAS, the lessee at the property located at 24 Southwest 4th Street, Miami, Florida (“Event Site”), wishes to host “The Bloom Presents” (“Event”) to provide a cultural and economic injection to the City of Miami (“City”) for the benefit of its residents; and WHEREAS, the Event has created pop-up structures in order to bring this immersive experience to the City, both for residents as well as visitors; and WHEREAS, the Event Site will be holding special events through the City process and the two (2) events at two (2) weeks for each event will expire as of mid-April 2025; and WHEREAS, due to the public interest of the Event at the Event Site, the City wishes to continue said Events at the Event Site for a year, and, as such, the Event requires a City Commission waiver from April 8, 2025 through December 14, 2025; and WHEREAS, the Event times will be Monday through Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM; and WHEREAS, the Event at the Event Site requires permits to be issued by the City to ensure life-safety and quality of life issues and appropriate conditions may be imposed on each permit; and WHEREAS, the Event has applied for and is receiving the required permits under BD24- 022719-001; and WHEREAS, the Event at the Event Site will be beneficial to the City’s residents and visitors;

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. Pursuant to Section 62-521(b)(4) of the City Code, titled “Temporary Events in General,” the two (2) temporary event per year per property limitation is hereby waived to allow the Event at the Event Site from April 8, 2025, through December 14, 2025. Section 3. This Resolution does not waive any other requirements of the City Code, including but not limited to, noise restrictions, applicable fees, inspections, and permits. Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption. APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS:
