Background of Item: The Florida Department of Transportation (“FDOT”) has developed design plans Financial Management (“FM”) Project No. FM 445996-1-52-02 for, for the milling and resurfacing of the existing asphalt pavement, ADA and improvements, installation of new pavement markings, installation of a new FPL service point and pull boxes within the project area, removal of existing FPL service point and pull boxes within the project area, removal of existing service pedestal and disconnect, and installation of new service pedestal, utility meter and service disconnect. FDOT intends to undertake and complete the Project, a portion of which includes work on roads not on the State Highway System but City of Miami right-of-way, specifically on NE 62 Street from the NW corner radius return to 45 feet West along the sidewalk; NE 64 Street from the NE corner radius return to 116 feet East along the sidewalk; NE 69 Street from the SW corner radius return to 140 feet West along the sidewalk; NE 71 Street from the SE corner radius return to 50 feet East along the sidewalk and median; NE 76 Street from the NE and SE corner radius return to 50 feet East along the sidewalk; NE 78 Street from the NW corner radius return to 140 feet West along the sidewalk; NE 79 Street from the NE corner radius return to 120 feet East along the sidewalk and 20 feet North of NE 79 Street along Alley; NE 81 Street from the SE corner radius return to 120 feet East along the sidewalk and 115 feet South of NE 81 Street along Alley; NE 82 Street from the NW corner radius return to 144 feet West along the sidewalk; and NE 87 Street from the SE corner radius return to 70 feet East along the sidewalk. NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The City Manager is authorized1 to execute the Agreement, in substantially the attached form, with FDOT, for the Project on State Road 5/United States Highway 1 (US- 1)/Biscayne Boulevard from Northeast 61 Street to Northeast 6 Avenue, Miami, Florida, which includes improvements on roads not on the state highway system, and the Local Roadway Improvements. Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption. APPROVED AS TO FORM AND CORRECTNESS:
