BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Commission hereby, in accordance with Section 36(a) of the Charter of the City of Miami, Florida, officially confirms the City Clerk's Certification of the Declaration of Results of the City of Miami Civil Service Board Election held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 and Friday, April 25, 2025, attached and incorporated as Exhibit “A”. Section 2. Maria G. Cabrera received more than fifty percent (50%) plus one of all votes cast and is hereby confirmed as an elected member of the Civil Service Board for Seat No. 1, to serve for a term beginning on May 14, 2025 and ending on May 13, 2027. Section 3. Brandon Lanier received more than fifty percent (50%) plus one of all votes cast and is hereby confirmed as an elected member of the Civil Service Board for Seat No. 2, to serve for a term beginning on May 14, 2025 and ending on May 13, 2027.
