Accept FEMA rank five status in flood insurance program for 25% premium discount

A resolution of the mayor and village council of the village of palmetto bay, florida, relating to sustainability and resiliency; accepting the department of homeland security, federal emergency management agency’s (FEMA) determination of the village’s standing within the national flood insurance program (nfip) community rating system (crs); recognizing an increase to rank five (#5) which will provide residents with a twenty-five percent (25%) discount on their flood insurance premiums; and providing an effective date.
