Establish Palmetto Bay Pals volunteer wellness check program

A resolution of the mayor and village council of the village of palmetto bay, florida, establishing the “palmetto bay pals” volunteer wellness check program to support residents living alone; directing the village manager to design and implement a pilot program providing scheduled wellness calls and related support; authorizing the village manager to enter into partnerships with schools and nonprofit organizations for volunteer recruitment and training; providing for program parameters, including eligibility, volunteer screening, emergency protocols, and reporting; and providing for an effective date.
