Approve $725,000 transportation alternatives grant for bicycle pedestrian project

A resolution of the mayor and village council of the village of palmetto bay, florida, relating to grants; approving a grant application in the amount of $725,000 to the florida department of transportation, under its transportation alternatives program, to fund a bicycle and pedestrian bridge and sidewalk connectivity project; retroactively authorizing the village manager to execute the grant application on behalf of the village; and providing an effective date.
