Authorize $5,000 purchase of American flags and poles for residents and businesses

A resolution of the mayor and village council of the village of palmetto bay, florida, to encourage pride, patriotism, and unity by authorizing the village manager to purchase and make available american flags and outdoor poles to display “old glory” on palmetto bay residences and businesses by independence day, july 4, 2024; authorizing up to five-thousand dollars ($5,000.00) for purchase of flags and poles for twenty-five dollars ($25.00) each; and providing for an effective date.
