Authorize youth lacrosse program agreement with Miami Youth Lacrosse LLC

RESOLUTION NO. 2023- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH MIAMI YOUTH LACROSSE, LLC. FOR YOUTH LACROSSE PROGRAM; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village issued a Request for Proposals for Youth Lacrosse Program; and WHEREAS, the Village Manager received a proposal by the published deadline; and

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Miami Youth Lacrosse, LLC. for Youth Lacrosse Program. Section 2. As a result of the RFP, a proposal from Miami Youth Lacrosse, LLC was received by the March 27, 2023 deadline. Based upon staff’s evaluation of the qualifications and responsiveness, the firm is qualified to run the Village of Pinecrest lacrosse program. The compensation structure for this program will be a 70%/30% revenue split, 70% of the registration fee will go to Miami Youth Lacrosse, LLC. and 30% will go to the Village. I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution awarding the contract for the Youth Lacrosse Program to Miami Youth Lacrosse, LLC.
