Permit alcoholic beverages at April 12 Pinecrest Gardens event

RESOLUTION NO. 2022-__ A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, PERMITTING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AT EVENT TO BE HELD ON APRIL 12, 2023 AT PINECREST GARDENS PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION 2002-4; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That alcoholic beverages shall be permitted for event, to be held on April 12, 2023, at Pinecrest Gardens, pursuant to the provisions of Resolution 2002-4. Section 2. If approved this will be our third alcohol party date for 2023. We are respectfully requesting Council approval for a wedding on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023. The event will commence at 2:00 p.m. in Hammock Pavilion for the ceremony and move over to Cypress Hall at 5:00 for the reception until 11:00 p.m. The Richard Torres & Madison Ballard wedding party is formally requesting a waiver to be able to serve alcoholic beverages during the reception following the ceremony and at dinner. Specifically, the event would take place between the hours of 2:00pm to 11:00pm in the Garden’s Hammock Pavilion and Cypress Hall. With a later time frame, it will help us to coordinate the many guests that will be in attendance at our wedding, including those from California, Texas, Maryland, Ohio, Kentucky, and Florida.
