Authorize debris removal monitoring services agreement with Disaster Program and Operations

RESOLUTION NO. 2025- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH DISASTER PROGRAM AND OPERATIONS, INC. FOR DEBRIS REMOVAL MONITORING SERVICES; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village issued a Request for Qualifications for firms interested in providing Debris Removal Monitoring Services; and WHEREAS, the Village Manager received proposals by the published deadline; and WHEREAS, a staff evaluation committee has reviewed and ranked the firms in the following order: 1. Disaster Program and Operations, Inc. 2. DebrisTech, LLC

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the firm of Disaster Program and Operations, Inc. to provide Debris Removal Monitoring Services. Section 2. As a result of the RFP, the following two proposals were received by the February 21, 2025, deadline: 1. Disaster Program and Operations, Inc. 2. DebrisTech, LLC Based upon the selection committee’s evaluation of the qualifications and responsiveness, the firms were ranked in the following order: 1. Disaster Program and Operations, Inc. 2. DebrisTech, LLC I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution awarding the contract for the Debris Removal Monitoring Services to Disaster Program and Operations, Inc.
