Award $86,402 bus stop repair bid to Green Alliance Inc.

RESOLUTION NO. 2023- A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AWARDING A BID TO GREEN ALLIANCE, INC FOR THE PINECREST GARDENS BUS STOP STRUCTURE REPAIR PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Village issued an Invitation to Bid for the “Pinecrest Gardens Bus Stop Structure Repair” project; and WHEREAS, sealed proposals were received by the published deadline; and WHEREAS, Green Alliance, Inc. submitted the most responsive proposal;

NOW, THEREFORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF PINECREST, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Village Council hereby determines that Green Alliance, Inc. has submitted the most responsive bid and hereby authorizes the Village Manager to enter into an agreement with said firm for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, machinery, superintendence, and services necessary for the completion of the project as detailed in the Pinecrest Gardens Bus Stop Structure Repair Project Invitation to Bid packet in an amount not to exceed $63,000.00. The project includes removing and repair of all loose, spalling concrete. As a result of the ITB, the following two (2) bids were received by the February 28, 2023 deadline: RAZORBACK LLC $86,402.00 Green Alliance, INC $63,000.00 Based upon staff’s evaluation of the proposals, I hereby respectfully recommend the Village Council adopt the attached resolution awarding the contract for the Pinecrest Gardens Bus Stop Structure Repair project to the lowest Bidder, Green Alliance, INC in the amount of $63,000.00.
